Henry joined The Fine Art Group in 2018 and works with private clients, providing expert guidance, sourcing and due diligence on sales and acquisitions from 1900 to the present day. He’s built international collections for private museums, individuals and companies in America, Europe and Asia. As one of the company’s leading art specialists, Henry has extensive experience in both the primary and secondary markets.

Before joining The Fine Art Group, Henry co-directed a commercial gallery in London, receiving reviews in friezeArtForumArt ReviewArt MonthlyFinancial TimesThe Guardian and The Art Newspaper, among others. He spent several years at the Contemporary Art Society and has continued to write over the past decade. His first book, Commercial Galleries: Bricks, Clicks and the Digital Future will be published by Lund Humphries in September 2023. Other writing includes contributions to Phaidon publications Vitamin P3Flying Too Close to the SunVitamin TGreat Women Artists and Prime: Art’s Next Generation, as well as Apollo magazine. He frequently lectures on the art market at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. 

Like many of his colleagues, Henry is an enthusiastic collector with a wide-ranging collection of contemporary art, encompassing paintings, works on paper, photographs, prints, sculpture and design.

Henry received his MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art after completing a BA (first class) in art history at the University of Cambridge.
