Guy Jennings joined The Fine Art Group in 2014 as a Senior Director and the Head of Impressionist and Modern Art. He is recognized as a leading authority in field having spent most of his career with the two major auction houses, Christie’s and Sotheby’s.

In 1992, Guy was appointed Senior Director of Christie’s. From 1992-95, he was Head of Impressionist and Modern Art in France. In 1995-98, Guy was the Deputy Chairman of Christie’s Switzerland, responsible for European Impressionist and Modern Art. In 1999, Guy left Christie’s to become Deputy Chairman of Sotheby’s Europe and in 2012 he returned to Christie’s, working in New York as Deputy Chairman of Impressionist and Modern Paintings.

He is frequently asked to comment on the art market by leading publications, including The Financial Times, The Times, The New York Times, Artnet News, The Telegraph, Bloomberg, and The Art Newspaper. Additionally, he frequently serves as an expert witness in art related cases. His first book, “Impressionist Painters”, was published in 1986. Guy was educated at Trinity College, Oxford.
