Hubert d’Ursel joined The Fine Art Group in October 2021 as Director, Benelux.
Hubert spent most of his career at Xerox Co before joining Sotheby’s in 1994 when he was first appointed as Managing Director of Sotheby’s Belgium and later Board Director of Sotheby’s Europe from 1997 onwards. In 2012 until present he was Head of Art Advisory at Bank Degroof Petercam, a leading private bank in Belgium with operations in Luxembourg and Paris.
Hubert is ambassador of BRAFA art fair, patron of Musée Royal des Beaux Arts Brussels and Committee member of Brussels Art Square (BAS).
He speaks fluent French, English, Dutch and Portuguese.
