Jasmine Mathis joined The Fine Art Group in 2023 as an Administrative Coordinator. Mathis’s responsibilities include providing administrative support to the appraisal, advisory, and marketing teams as needed. She also implements oversight and training for The Fine Art Group’s internship program.

Mathis has a background in Archaeology and has participated in digs within the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. She received her master’s in art administration and museum leadership from Drexel University in 2021 and, since then, has focused her career on collection management. In 2022, Mathis was instrumental in transferring the Philadelphia History Collection (which includes more than 300,000 historical objects) from East Falls to Center City Philadelphia for Drexel University. This transfer has been featured and closely followed by the Philadelphia Inquirer and other major institutions.

Mathis’ research with the Philadelphia History Collection was presented at Boston’s 2022 American Alliance of Museums conference. Her work was also highlighted in the “Diggin’ In” Lecture Series for the Peabody Institute.
