Charlie Wood joined The Fine Art Group in 2018, with expertise from 1900 to present day and a strong focus on Post-War and Contemporary Art. Charlie provides expert guidance, sourcing and due diligence on acquisitions for the group’s private clients, managing and developing art collections from Europe, the Middle East and the USA. Charlie works with private and corporate clients to provide high level exit strategy and guidance on agency projects and auction consignments, tightly managing large volume groups and single owner sales; she drives portfolio management for investment clients and leads on valuation and due diligence for the group’s Art Finance loan portfolio.

With over ten year’s experience in the art world Charlie has worked for Sotheby’s, The Wilson Centre for Photography and private art advisors, before working at Blain|Southern Gallery leading on all research, due diligence and consignments for secondary market private sales for the gallery.

With granular focus on the commercial art world, Charlie regularly provides commentary and articles on the global auction roster and current state of the art market. Charlie graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge with a BA in Art History.
